Merkaz Hamagshimim Hadassah (aka The Merkaz) is a unique combination of an absorption center, community center and activism center located in the heart of Baka, one of the most beautiful, peaceful and dynamic neighborhoods in Jerusalem.   As part of Young Judaea- The Zionist youth movement of Hadassah, The Merkaz is based on Zionism, Jewish Pluralism and Social Activism.

Job Description:  Activism and Community Liaison Name: Deena Gilad Education: B.A in Community social Work and MA in Non Profit Management, both at  the Hebrew University. Professional Experience: worked for 2 years in an institute for people with retardation and throughout University in various programs with Ethiopian kids, disadvantaged kids and the gay community. Something about me: A true red head (for good or bad).
